Utah’s Online Health Exchange Floundering
As blogged about earlier (here and here), Utah’s experimental online health insurance exchange – launched with great fanfare, so promising in theory – continues to face challenges as it’s being rolled out, leaving many to question its viability. The success of the exchange remains an open question – whether it ends up being much ado about nothing rather than something… a worrisome outcome for many who had hoped state-based exchanges might become a viable alternative to delivering health insurance to more people.
